Personality
He's built with a shy and nervous disposition. Ultimately, the most important things in life to him are ochazuke and helping others, though I wonder which he would pick over the other. He's quite fond of both star-gazing and cloud watching. It seems he is quite affronted when anyone insinuates he is in any way-shape-or-form a cat, despite being an excellent human embodiment of several feline characteristics. Easily swayed by relatively small amounts of money.
Relationships
Osamu Dazai
Atsushi looks up to Dazai with an almost idol-like admiration. This sentiment co-exists with severe apathy and distrust of the man on a more superficial level, since Atsushi is the one doing most (if not all) of Dazai's paperwork.
Kyoka Izumi
He thinks of her as a little sister, and would do anything for her. This includes spending a large amount of his paycheck on her favorite foods, and sleeping inside the closet.
Ryuunosuke Akutagawa
Ah. The illustrious rival. Atsushi thinks of him with both fear and respect. He acknowledges that Akutagawa is incredibly powerful, and both a fearsome then-rival and now-partner. Sometimes he gets confused on how to talk to him, but he wants to turn their relationship into something more functional. He definitely doesn't have a raging crush on him. No sir, not at all.
Gin Akutagawa
He's terrified of her! And yet, and yet, they've somehow become unlikely friends. He acknowledges her brand of wisdom...but he's still a bit confused as to why she ultimately tolerates him.
Naomi Tanizaki
A good and trusted friend. He's glad to have at least a few peers who he doesn't have to worry about killing him.
Fyodor Dostoyevsky
Very useful to have around if you're trying to solve a case involving the black market! Atsushi maintains a healthy awareness of how dangerous he is, but is thankful for his current overtures of support.
Amelia Alderson
A good friend. He looks up to her, envious of how easily she appears to deal with life. He may have the teeniest tiniest crush on her, but doesn't everyone?
"Q" Kyusaku Yumeno
After a conversation or two with the kid...he's decided to allow them some sympathy. He sees just a bit of his younger self in them...but it's enough.
Ichiyou Higuchi
She tried and failed to kidnap him once...and then, well...safe to say, he's not quite sure what to think of her just yet.

He met her once or twice, and she was so friendly and kind! But...he's heard a few things since then that conflict with that...hmm.
